Vela Large Inset/Undermount Kitchen Sink

Product detail

Built into the wider KBB offer

The Vela Large Inset/Undermount Kitchen Sink makes the case that a generous single bowl, available in two installation formats, is one of the most versatile specifications available for a kitchen refurbishment. Large enough to be genuinely useful for a household that cooks seriously; flexible enough to be installed inset or undermount depending on whether the brief prioritises the worktop's continuity or the sink's visible presence. In brushed stainless steel, both readings are well served.

The bowl's scale means it accommodates the range of tasks a serious kitchen requires without the cook needing to plan around the sink's limitations. Large roasting tins, stock pots, colanders full of vegetables — the Vela Large handles these as routine rather than challenges. The brushed 18/10 stainless steel provides the material durability appropriate to this level of daily use, and the finish handles the evidence of that use without accumulating it visibly.

Inset installation places the Vela Large's rim at worktop level — the steel visible, the bowl's scale immediately apparent, the composition between steel and quartz overlay explicit. Undermount makes the transition seamless: the overlay surface runs to the bowl's edge, the large bowl visible below, the worktop above uninterrupted. Against a Bulgaria Dark or Carrara Marble overlay, the Vela Large's scale in either installation method creates a sink zone with genuine authority.
