The Vela Compact Inset/Undermount Kitchen Sink offers the rarest quality in a compact sink: genuine flexibility of installation. Inset or undermount, the Vela Compact works well in either configuration — a compact single bowl in brushed stainless steel that reads differently depending on how it's installed, giving the kitchen designer (and the homeowner) two distinct design options from one product. In a compact kitchen, having both options is particularly valuable, because the relationship between worktop and sink matters more when the scale is tighter.

Brushed 18/10 stainless steel, consistently finished across the bowl and rim so both installation methods show the same material quality. The compact footprint keeps the bowl's priority clear — this is a working sink in a smaller kitchen, sized correctly for what that kitchen actually needs. The steel handles heat, resists staining, and maintains its brushed character through daily use without requiring upkeep beyond ordinary cleaning.

Inset installation makes the Vela Compact explicitly visible at worktop level, the brushed steel in dialogue with the quartz overlay surface. Undermount makes it present but subservient to the overlay — the quartz running continuously to the bowl's edge, the steel below. Against a Vitton or Calacatta Retro overlay in a compact kitchen, both options create their own design reading; the choice depends on which material you want the worktop zone to foreground.
