The Butler 90 takes the Belfast format and scales it generously — a 900mm bowl in fine fireclay ceramic, the full width of it exposed in a classic apron-front profile. This is a sink that shapes the kitchen around itself rather than fitting into it, and that's precisely the point. In the right room — one where the cabinetry, the worktop, and the hardware have been chosen with the same seriousness — the Butler 90 is less a fixture and more a statement of intent.

Fireclay ceramic fired to a deep, smooth glaze. The material is naturally hygienic, resistant to staining and chipping, and it maintains its whiteness without special treatment. The sheer scale of the Butler 90's bowl makes it genuinely useful for a household where cooking is serious: large roasting tins, stock pots, bulk preparation all sit comfortably. The depth of the bowl is characteristic of the Belfast tradition — you're working at the sink rather than over it.

The apron front of the Butler 90 requires cabinetry to be configured around it — base units cut away to receive it, the sink itself forming part of the visual structure of the kitchen furniture below. In an KBB Doors makeover, this is planned from the outset, with the quartz overlay worktop templated to meet the top of the sink cleanly. A Carrara Marble or Calacatta Retro overlay at this scale creates a composition with real authority.
